These are the original classic chairs created by Paul Henry NICOLLE in 1933. Originally designed as a robust, ergonomic and stackable seat for industry workers, Nicolle became very popular during the 1950s in French factories and workshops. These are now re-issued by Jérôme Lepert.

Easily used as everyday chairs for tables and desks, they have become a design classic with their iconic swan necks. Indeed these are very comfortable, the backrest is in the perfect ergonomic spot and flexes slightly left and right with you in the chair if you move your back.

LACQUERED STEEL - Straight off the production line and cleaned from impurities. The metal is then lacquered with a clear satin that preserves the raw look.

SEAT - Solid Beechwood with rounded smooth edges and clear lacquered. Please select in the drop-down menu.

Height of the chair, including backrest: 78cm, seat height 45cm, on the ground 36cm x 36cm square. Black plastic feet fitted as standard.

World wide shipping is fully tracked and delivery times are dependant on available services. 

International customers will be liable to pay customs and duties once your order reaches your country's border.

All lead times quoted are for delivery to mainland UK, if ordering outside of this area there will be an additional transit time relevant to your destination.

US customers will be subject to additional tariffs as well as import duties and tax. Our team will be in touch after your order has been placed to confirm the individual tariff rates for each item. Orders will not be processed until you have confirmed that you accept the tariff rates and give consent for the order to be shipped.

Our returns policy lasts for 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase has been delivered, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Goods / Returns must be received to Dyke & Dean within 14 days of being delivered to you. If Goods / Returns are received after this we will not issue a refund. Notification to our office of your return via telephone, email, fax and or letter within 14 days does not mean a refund will be given. A refund will only be reviewed if the Goods / Returns are received within 14 days to our possession.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for the delivery costs of returning the goods. 

Bespoke/Made to order products, cut lengths of fabric cable under 100m and Outlet items are non-returnable.
